Hardly have the recently announced Celeron 1.7GHz and Celeron 1.4GHz cropped up in the Japanese hardware stores, as the not yet announced Celeron 1.8GHz joined them. It is based on "new" 0.18micron Willamette-128 core. It has been noticed only in one single Japanese hardware store so far, but the first step is the hardest.
The unannounced novelty is now selling for around $124. As we have already reported in our news, Intel Celeron 1.8GHz is expected to be announced within this quarter already.
