We regret very much that we forgot to celebrate one of the most important anniversaries in the computer hardware industry. On the 22nd March of 1993 Intel Corporation introduced the first ever Pentium processor, so, on the 22nd March of 2003 the brand-name was here for a decade.

The evolution of the Pentium processors from 60MHz to 3066MHz through the years is simply amazing both in terms of performance and capabilities. Basically, the whole computer industry evolved with the Pentium and, more importantly, the revolutions are still happening!

Now, hundreds of millions units and 3000MHz later let us take a look at the list of the most important milestones ever reached by Intel Pentium processors:

1993

1994

1995

1996

1997

1998

1999

2000

2001

2002

2003

By the way, will Prescott and Tejas code-named chips still carry the Pentium brand-name after more than 3652 days of its life?
