Intel Discontinues a Number of Mobile Processors.
Clears the Way for New

As always, market demand for certain Intel microprocessors has shifted to higher performance CPUs and the company notified its customers about the beginning of product discontinuance program for Mobile Intel Pentium III processor-M 866MHz ULV and 850MHz ULV, Mobile Intel Celeron processor 733MHz ULV and 700MHz ULV chips.

- Product Discontinuance Program Support Begins: March 20, 2003.
- Product Discontinuance Demand to Local Intel Representative Due: May 16, 2003.
- Orders For Discontinued Product Become Non-Cancelable: May 16, 2003.
- Last Corporate Commit Product Hot List Date: July 1, 2003.
- Last Product Discontinuance Order Date: July 11, 2003.
- Last Product Discontinuance Shipment Date: September 17, 2004 for the Pentium III processors and March 19, 2004, for the Celeron chips.
