An Advanced Micro Devices’ representative said today in response to our yesterday’s news-story that the company’s upcoming Athlon 64 processor will surely support more than one PC3200 memory module.

He said it would be suicide for AMD to launch such a processor with support for only 512MB of fast DDR SDRAM memory. The upcoming Athlon 64 will definitely be able to provide a lot of opportunities for end-users both in terms of performance and memory support, AMD assures.

And there are more exciting facts about the final AMD Athlon 64 to be unveiled shortly.
