PowerColor, a maker of graphics cards that is owned by Tul Corp., said Wednesday that it did not manufacture AGP version of ATI Radeon HD 4770 graphics cards and that its listing at Amazon.com was a mistake by the online store.

“Amazon made a mistake in posting AGP on our ATI Radeon HD 4770 graphics card. There is no AGP version,” said Gene Chi, a marketing manager for Tul Corp.

On Tuesday it was reported that Amazon.com sells ATI Radeon HD 4770 graphics card for Accelerated Graphics Port bus.

ATI Radeon HD 4770, which is powered by ATI RV740 graphics processing units (GPUs), features 640 stream processors, 32 texture units, 16 render back ends and 128-bit GDDR3/GDDR4/GDDR5 memory controller. ATI, graphics business of Advanced Micro Devices, recommends its partners among graphics cards makers to clock the chip at 750MHz and install 512MB of GDDR5 memory at 3200MHz.
