Although there are no CPUs for 800MHz Quad Pumped Bus, mainboard makers already sell i875P (Canterwood) powered mainboards. As always, Japan is the first country to see the novelties in retail, however, for rather high prices from $175 to $274. At this time, ASUS, AOPen, Gigabyte and MSI were the first to deliver the products into the market, as this Japanese web-site reports.

Take a look at brief specs of the mainboards that are available now:

ASUS P4C800 Deluxe: i875P MCH; ICH5R; 400/533/800MHz QPB; 4 DIMM slots for up to 4GB of PC2100/PC2700 or PC3200 (DDR400) memory; dual-channel memory bus support: memory modules used should be identical and installed in pairs; AGP 8x, 5 PCI slots; 2-channel ATA-33/66/100; 2-channel Serial ATA-150 controller (ICH5R) with RAID 0 support; Optionally ASUS can install another controller from Promise to support another pair of Serial ATA-150 connectors; 10/100/1000Mb/s Ethernet controller; 6-channel AC'97 sound; USB 2.0; FireWire (IEEE-1394) controller; ATX. $241 - $274.

MSI 875P Neo-LSR: i875P MCH; ICH5; 400/533/800MHz QPB; 4 DIMM slots for up to 4GB of PC2100/PC2700 or PC3200 (DDR400) memory; dual-channel memory bus support: memory modules used should be identical and installed in pairs; AGP 8x, 5 PCI slots; 2-channel ATA-33/66/100; Optional Serial ATA-150; 10/100Mb/s Ethernet controller; 6-channel AC'97 sound; USB 2.0; Optional FireWire (IEEE-1394) controller; ATX. $198-$207

AOpen AX4C MAX: i875P MCH; ICH5R; 400/533/800MHz QPB; 4 DIMM slots for up to 4GB of PC2100/PC2700 or PC3200 (DDR400) memory; dual-channel memory bus support: memory modules used should be identical and installed in pairs; AGP 8x, 5 PCI slots; 2-channel ATA-33/66/100; 2-channel Serial ATA-150 controller (ICH5R) with RAID 0 support; Additional Serial ATA-150/Parralel ATA controller provides one ATA-33/66/100/133 port and two Serial ATA-150 ports; 10/100/1000Mb/s Ethernet controller; 6-channel AC'97 sound; USB 2.0; FireWire (IEEE-1394) controller; ATX. $230 - $250.

Gigabyte GA-8IK1100: i875P MCH; ICH5R; 400/533/800MHz QPB; 6 DIMM slots for up to 4GB of PC2100/PC2700 or PC3200 (DDR400) memory; dual-channel memory bus support: memory modules used should be identical and installed in pairs; AGP Pro 8x, 5 PCI slots; 2-channel ATA-33/66/100; 2-channel Serial ATA-150 controller (ICH5R) with RAID 0 support; 10/100Mb/s Ethernet controller; 6-channel AC'97 sound; USB 2.0; FireWire (IEEE-1394) controller; ATX. $175.

Given that Intel has been supplying its Canterwood core-logic for some time now, we expect mainboards based on this chipset to appear in the USA and Europe soon. To the great upset, there will be no Pentium 4 processors with 800MHz Quad Pumped Bus available for some time now.
