IWILL USA and ATI Technologies’ FIRE GL division decided help each other with pushing their products into the marketplace. This Spring IWILL USA will offer bundles consisting of a workstation mainboard from IWILL and a workstation ATI FIRE GL graphics cards for lower price compared to their street cost.

Combos of mainboard + graphics card will include IWILL’s DP533-series mainboard based on Intel E7505 “Placer” core-logic for 2-way Intel Xeon based systems and a FIRE GL graphics card X1 with either 128 or 256MB or Z1 with 128MB of 256-bit DDR SDRAM memory.

ATI FIRE GL X1 with 128 or 256MB is based on the RADEON 9700 technology and boasts with 8 rendering pipelines. FIRE GL X1 utilises RADEON 9500 graphics chip and provides only 4 rendering pipelines.

The opportunity to save about $200 is available only to resellers, though, I believe end-users will also benefit from the campaign after all. The cheapest bundle of IWILL DPI533 + ATI FIRE GL Z1 128MB costs $605 (saves you $194), while the most-expensive set costs $1210 for IWILL DP533-S and ATI FIRE GL X1 256MB (save $200).
