A lot of mainboard makers rolled out their new products on i875P and i865P/i865PE/i865G core-logic sets to support the recently unveiled Intel Pentium 4 processors with 800MHz Quad Pumped Bus. It worth to say that now mainboard producers unveiled a lot more new devices than they did last October when Intel issued its i865PE and i865GE chipsets. This happens mostly because of the fact that Intel did not proclaim its plans to replace the announced chipsets with a new family of core-logic this Fall, so, mainboard makers consider the current lineup as a long-term project and are not afraid of offering bunch of different i865-series powered mainboards since life-cycle of such products will be longer than that of their predecessors.
Let us now take a look at what one of the biggest mainboard makers, MSI, decided to offer us this Spring:
