Virtual Computex 2003 continues and I am able to bring you the latest news from there without even leaving my home-town. Gigabyte Technology is definitely not keeping away from the virtual “trade show” and also showcases dozens of new mainboards on its web-site, including VIA-based mainboards for the Pentium 4 processors and NVIDIA powered solutions for AMD Athlon 64 CPUs.

As you may guess, Socket A and Socket 478 mainboards will be available shortly, whereas the Socket 754 solutions will come here only in September or late August. I think that the new Socket A and Socket 478 mainboards from Gigabyte Technology will be affordable since they do not utilize expensive core-logic, whereas Socket 754 are intended for higher-end market with appropriate pricing.
