Although NVIDIA and some of its mainboard partners claim that the nForce2 chipset supports 400MHz EV-6 FSB from the very beginning, some companies only declare 400MHz FSB support for newer products, but not for those, that have been on the market for almost five months already.

We recently mentioned that ABIT unveiled its NF7-S mainboard revision 2.0 with native 400MHz FSB support and today I received a word from MyHard.com Chinese web-site, who had discovered that LeadTek also plans to update its nForce2-based line-up with K7NCR18D Pro II mainboard that provides 400MHz FSB for future Athlon XP processors.

Here is the list of newcomer’s features:

The mainboard is based on the same PCB as the predecessor, hence, we can expect that LeadTek K7NCR18D Pro mainboard will also be able to work with Athlon XP “Barton” processors with 400MHz FSB.

As always, no word about pricing or availability of the product.
