CP Technology company, better known under PowerColor brand-name, has been penetrating mainboard market since June this year, Anna Filatova reports from Computex Taipei 2003. The company, apparently, sells loads of different mainboards to its clients, but there is no information about prosperity or decline of this CP’s business, though.

Besides ATI RADEON 9100 IGP-based mainboards, PowerColor also sells i865- and i875P-series of mainboards, just like we told you early this year. Sources indicate that the company used its primary graphics cards channel to sell the mainboards. The most successful family of mainboard products by CP is the one based on i865P/PE/G “Springdale” core-logic sets, we managed to learn.

PowerColor also pins a lot of hopes on ATI’s highly-anticipated RADEON 9100 IGP chipset. As you see, the company even demonstrates a reference mainboard powered by ATI’s chipset at Computex Taipei 2003.
