Super Talent, a leading supplier of memory modules, has announced its new DDR3 products that combine both low latency and high clock-speed, which would attract attention of computer enthusiasts seeking for the best possible performance. The only obstacle for performance-addicted is the price of the new memory modules, which equals to that of an inexpensive computer.
<%BANNER[article]%>The new enthusiast-oriented lineup from Super Talent includes several 2GB memory kits: W1600UC2G9 (1600MHz, CL9 9-9-21, 1.8V), W1333UC2G8 (1600MHz, CL8 8-8-21, 1.8V) and W1600UC2G7 (1600MHz, CL7 7-7-21, 1.8V) that offer impressive clock-speeds and timings combinations.
“These kits were designed to shock hardcore tweakers and performance enthusiasts into a state of awe. Some of these kits have broken the 2000MHz barrier in our Compatibility Labs. Our 1600 CL7 kit sets a new standard in extreme performance memory,” said Super Talent marketing director, Joe James.
Originally CL7 latency was only available on PC3-8500 (1066MHz) memory modules, but recently OCZ Technology presented PC3-10666 (1333MHz) modules with CL7 timings. The announcement of PC3-12800 products with CL7 7-7-21 latency settings by Super Talent marks a new speed record for DDR3 memory modules.
Street price on the Super Talent W1600UX2G7 will be approximately $648, and on the W1600UX2G9 will cost about $598, according to Super Talent.
