Patriot Memory, a popular supplier of high-performance DRAM- and flash-based products, this week unveiled its new Viper-series memory modules aimed at performance enthusiasts. The new modules designed for Intel Core i7 processors will further broaden Patriot’s extensive lineup of triple-channel memory kits for the latest Intel desktop platform.

“At these speeds, your system is just missing wings to fly. If you are a gaming enthusiast, the 2000MHz Viper will be a perfect compliment to your Intel Core i7,” said Saeed Arash Far, technical engineering manager at Patriot Memory.

Patriot Viper 2000MHz 6GB memory module kit is capable of operating at 2.0GHz with CL8 8-8-24 latency settings. The new Viper memory modules feature Patriot's own cooling system to ensure additional reliability and further overclocking potential.

Patriot is not the first company on the market to unveil 2000MHz memory modules, however, since 2GHz kits for Intel Core i7 are not brand new for the market, the firm is likely to offer relatively very competitive pricing on such products in order to attract attention of enthusiasts.

Patriot Viper memory modules are backed by lifetime warranty.
