Apple has indirectly confirmed that it would unveil the details about its next-generation mobile operating system for iPhone smartphones and iPad media tablets known as iOS 6. The company has placed banners at the Moscone center in San Francisco, California, where the WWDC (worldwide developer conference) 2012 is set to take place next week.

Based on the banners placed at the show floor, Apple will indeed reveal its new operating system just about eight months after releasing its current-generation iOS 5. While nobody exactly knows what the iOS 6 is all about, an educated guess would point to deeper (or even deeper than expected) integration with Mac OS "Mountain Lion" operating system as well as other forms of integration across different devices.

In the best case scenario, Apple iOS 6 can re-imagine the world of mobile devices by bringing in virtualization, better control and freedom. In actual, it will just what it was ought to.

Apple did not comment on the news-story.

Impossible
It won't even multi-task, same old fast-switch

They'll add to apps, social integration

Security and privacy will still be about the worst possible
I doubt they'll mention LinkedIn, Last.fm, EHarmony and other related iOS hackings -- just launch some Microsoft -tyle FUD at their competitors when the hundreds of apps stealing Address Books like Path were exposed last time

Nevermind that iMessage traffic is stored indefinitely and unencrypted for the use of Apple and the USA Government, they can't even sort out one user getting another's messages or receiving a message that mysteriously vanishes when looked for some time later

I _very personally_ hope that it will actually multitask. I am sick and tired of Apple's and Nokia's task swapping on phones and tablets.

But then again, I hope for many things, don't I

Pretty sure there will be a significant improvement to the mapping app. Google maps app is out. Prepare to be told how magical and revolutionary it is.
