A member of a Chinese forum has published what is claimed to be the first images of Samsung Galaxy S IV flagship smartphone. The design of the novelty is not too much different from its predecessor’s, but the specifications clearly point to the fact that this is a brand-new handset, not a version of the Galaxy S III.

Based on images from bbs.52Samsung.com forum, the Samsung Galaxy S IV is made of plastic and has metallic frame, which should make the smartphone rugged. As usually, the Galaxy S IV utilizes Corning Gorilla Glass as a protective cover for the full-HD display. The front panel features camera, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor as well as one more unknown sensor that is not found on Samsung or any other smartphones.
