As Apple remains tight-lipped over its plans for entry-level iPhone that would make it more competitive on the markets traditionally ruled by Google Android, more and more pictures of the product emerge on the Internet. Recently, a Chinese web-site has published what is claimed to be the real back of an Apple iPhone smartphone made of plastic.

As expected, the budget Apple iPhone, which some believe will be called iPhone 5C, resembles the iPhone 5, features the same Lightning connector as well as similar placement of camera, flash and TRRS jack. On the picture published by VR-Zone and Seina Weibo the iPhone made of plastic poses with logos of FCC and other certification organizations, which may indicate that the smartphone is actually coming to market.

The low-cost Apple iPhone seems to share the form-factor with the iPhone 5, which means that we can expect dimensions similar to the current flagship smartphone from Apple. In addition, it is logical to expect 4” retina-class display with 1136*640 resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass cover. What remains to be seen is what system-on-chip will be inside the new products: the Apple A5 with two ARM Cortex-A9 cores, or Apple A6 with two ARM Cortex-A15-like cores.

Earlier images of the budget iPhone revealed that the smartphone will be available in pink (in two shades), blue, white and green (in two shades). In case multi-color low-cost Apple iPhone actually enters the market, it will clearly become a formidable competitor to Nokia Corp.’s Lumia series of smartphones that is known for coloured plastic encasings.

Apple did not comment on the news-story.

In less than 1 year Apple went from 700 Billion dollar value, to less than 400 Billion this month and it keeps going down. Selling cheap mini plastic craps will only accelerate the downfall... To bad, I really love iOS over Android, but the phones are already 3 years behind competition...

I think it happens with every brand. iPhones were really expensive and people thought that it was only carried by businessman or elites. After reading the article I think its time for me to purchase an iPhone for myself. This low cost Apple iPhone is looking cool and affordable with the same feature as iphone 5. Thanks resume services review
