Alienware, the high-performance gaming personal computer division of Dell Inc., announced on Wednesday its new lineup of mobile computers that delivers performance virtually equal to the most extreme desktop systems available today, the mALX. The mALX and the new m9700 systems feature two GeForce Go 7900 graphics processing units (GPUs) to offer desktop-class performance in mobiles.
“With Nvidia GPUs and SLI technology, Alienware has closed the performance gap between mobile and desktop systems with the introduction of our latest mobile systems,” said Mark Vena, vice president of marketing for Alienware.

The ALX desktop systems are engineered and precisely-crafted to deliver ultimate performance using overclocked and tuned-up hardware, however, mALX mobile computers do not feature any overclocked hardware, but boast with larger displays and some other advantages.
