Acer has introduced its B6- and V6-series LED-backlit monitors, targeted to business users. These monitors are made with post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and are designed to show how much Acer cares about the environment. The monitors have already grabbed accolades from environmentalists around the world.
The B6-series ranges from 19” to 27”, features up to 1920*1080 resolution and comes with USB 3.0 as well as a MHL [mobile high-definition link] ports. The B6 family uses Acer ComfyView technology, which reduces light reflection for more comfortable viewing under various commercial settings. The Acer B6-series exhibits professional style plus ergonomic design. With the multi-functional ErgoStand, the screen tilts from -5 to 35 degrees to ensure the best viewing angle; the base rotates 120 degrees from left or right for easy screen sharing; panel height can be adjusted over a range of 150mm for optimum comfort; and the screen can pivot from horizontal to vertical for more viewing perspectives. Besides, B6 features a magnetic paper clip stand.

As part of Acer’s ongoing commitment to sustainable operations and corporate social responsibility, the methods used to carry out product design and material management are distinctly meant to reduce environmental impact. Acer’s product design principles emphasize modularization, and components that are easy to dismantle and recycle, the company said.
Both monitor families will be available starting this month.
