Microsoft Corp. will bundle two popular video games with its Xbox 360 Elite game console that already comes with impressive amount of accessories. The move will help the software giant to boost sales in the U.S., Japan and other regions where it sells the system, but not in Europe, where the Xbox 360 is not truly successful.

Starting in May, Microsoft will start selling limited edition Xbox 360 Elite “Game of the Year” bundle that contains an Xbox 360 Elite and a copy of the award winning titles Halo 3 and Fable II for $399. Unfortunately, this bundle will be available in all regions that Xbox 360 is sold except those in Europe, according to Microsoft’s Major Nelson blog.

The move is quite strange for Microsoft as European and PAL regions is where the Xbox 360 console is by far not as successful as in the U.S.; therefore, not getting advanced bundle to Europe, despite the price-premium that consumers from the region have to pay, is quite a strange decision.
