Sony Computer Entertainment America has trademarked “Greatness Awaits” slogan, which should become the main catchphrase of the upcoming PlayStation 4 marketing campaign. The promotion push will closely tie the power and capabilities of the PS4 to the greatness and importance of an ordinary gamer, who will use it.

Last week Siliconera web-site obtained a leak from a company working on the “Greatness Awaits” campaign. The video commercial starts off by showing an empty road in a small town. A lone guy walks down the road towards the camera and says, "Who are you not to be great? You, with the imagination of a brilliant child and the powers of an ancient god."

The “Greatness Awaits” campaign will put gamer into the center of the universe and will represent the PlayStation 4 as his ultimate way to get extraordinary proficiencies. The campaign calls gamers to become unordinary, fearless, relentless, great and extent these values on the whole world.

“Who are you to be ordinary? You, who could get away with murder, or raise the dead. Who are you to be anonymous? You, whose name should be spoken in reverent tones or in terrified whispers. Who are you to be afraid? You, who can serve as judge and jury while hoarding infinite lives. Who are you to be a slave to the past? You who can travel time like the oceans and rewrite history with a single word. Who are you to deny greatness? If you would deny it to yourself, you deny it to the entire world,” the advertisement says.

Sony PlayStation 4 is set to hit the market later this year.
