There is quite a good sign of the industry’s rebound noted over here. TSMC and UMC are said to face tight manufacturing capacities this quarter as major clients like NVIDIA, Broadcom, Qualcomm, Motorola and others now increase their wafer orders.

TSMC expects 10% sequential revenue growth this quarter and may experience tight capacity. Prospects about UMC’s business were not indicated, but the company is also expected to be busy due to raising orders from its biggest clients.

If fables companies allocate more wafers, they probably suppose their sales to increase this quarter, what is good for the idustry. On the other hand, in case there are shortages of products, the prices will uptick; though, I believe that all the firms will try to neutralise the effect because it can lower the demand on new chips and processors.
