Advanced Micro Devices has been very productive in terms of new CPU announcements lately. Overclockers Online has reviewed Logitech Z-3 speakers. The Z-3 features two satellite speakers, a ported subwoofer and a wired remote control. Total system power is 40 watts with 17 watts going to the satellite speakers and 23 watts going to the subwoofer. Total peak power is 80 watts.

This slim & light notebook is a Centrino branded product with an Intel Pentium M CPU inside, clocked at a respectable 1.80GHz. 512MB of RAM and a capacious 80GB hard disk make this notebook a pretty powerful option. Despite the slim chassis, there's also a CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive. The drive will burn CD-R and CD-RW media at 24x, while also reading CD-ROM discs at 24x and DVD-ROM discs at 8x.

Red & Blackness has reviewed Monolith Mx-7010 mp3 player. This mobile player boasts with aluminum case, build in Li-ion 690mAh battery capable of up to 19 hours of playback as well as 256MB of memory and weight of only 65g.

Optical drives

CDRLabs.com has reviewed BenQ DW1620 double layer writer. This is the latest addition to BenQ's DVD writer lineup. Thanks to Philips' new Nexperia chipset, this new drive is capable of 16x DVD±R and 4x DVD±RW writing speeds and can read DVD's at speeds as high as high as 16x, it can also write to double layer DVD+R media at 2.4x.
