Ho ho ho, so funny to read a merry christmas message from all my feed providers. They don't mean a thing unless told by someone who care for you anyway. It's like in the city mall when the checkout operator tells you "merry christmas" and you know that they are told to say so by their manager, they don't really mean it.

I'm not saying you don't mean it, but in these days of spam, I prefer to filter out the messages with no relevance to the subject.

No no, not "Merry Christmas". We're supposed to say "Happy Holidays" now. Otherwise some idiots might get offended. :)

#3: What's wrong with saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas?" Some Islamic people are very sensitive to such subjects and since this is the country with diversity, we might as well change our tunes a bit just to make people other people feel comfortable.

How would you feel if people congratulated you on some other festival that may offend you?

#1: Learn to appreciate someone's good wishes. I am sure Xbit Labs did mean it and even if they didn't, it's common courtesy to reply back with a generous "thank you" or "same to you." Yes, managers do tell their customer service people to say "Happy Holidays" so it's not like you have discovered something new around here.
