Ho ho ho, so funny to read a merry christmas message from all my feed providers. They don't mean a thing unless told by someone who care for you anyway. It's like in the city mall when the checkout operator tells you "merry christmas" and you know that they are told to say so by their manager, they don't really mean it.

I'm not saying you don't mean it, but in these days of spam, I prefer to filter out the messages with no relevance to the subject.
