This year we decided not to publish a fully-fledged Black Friday-related article, but instead release several news-stories covering hot prices on popular products. Please note that in many cases Black Friday prices are valid in online stores from Black Friday through Cyber Monday. Nonetheless, some offerings are limited in time or quantities the retailer/e-tailer has.

Apple Macintosh, Apple iPad, Apple iPhone and some other Apple-branded devices are without any doubts among the most desired devices nowadays. In a bid to keep its image of a premium brand, Apple hardly ever makes discounts on certain mainstream dates, unlike other PC makers. Still, partners of the company can provide substantial discounts on certain products.

As it transpires, Apple authorized reseller MacMall (as reported by Apple Insider) to offer discounts of up to $106 on MacBook Air and $156 on MacBook Pro with retina-class display provided that they get bought via a special Apple Insider page. Moreover, 9-to5-Mac web-site lists numerous options – featuring links to Amazon and BestBuy – that offer discounted Apple devices.

Apple is clearly one of the most influential brands of today. The company has shown that it is eager to lose margin for the win of the market share with the iPad media tablet. At the same time, many analysts believe that the iPhone contract prices of manfacturiong are financing reasonable prices of Apple’s premium notebooks.

Do not expect Apple-branded products to get cheap, expect them to get better. Or wait until the next Black Friday.
