Creative officially announced the launching of their new 3D Blaster 4 graphics cards family based on NVIDIA GeForce4 chips:
  • 3D Blaster 4 MX420 (GeForce4 MX420 with 64MB SDR memory);
  • 3D Blaster 4 MX440 (GeForce4 MX440 with 64MB DDR memory);
  • 3D Blaster 4 MX460 (GeForce4 MX460 with 64MB DDR memory);
  • 3D Blaster 4 Ti4400 (GeForce4 Ti4400 with 128MB DDR memory);
  • 3D Blaster 4 Ti4600 (GeForce4 Ti4600 with 128MB DDR memory).
The chip and memory frequencies of the new products will meet the NVIDIA specs (see here for details) and the cards will as usual be made by MSI (this wasn’t mentioned in the press-release, of course, but no doubt, it is true).

The first graphics cards from the new Creative 3D Blaster 4 family will start selling in February. The recommended pricing looks as follows:

  • 3D Blaster 4 MX420 - $110;
  • 3D Blaster 4 MX440 - $130;
  • 3D Blaster 4 Ti4400 - $299.
