However, now we all know exact dates, connected with the chipset announcement: mass production of i845G should start on May 6, and its official announcement is planned for May 20. In other words, its will repeat the story of i845 B-Step: the official chipset announcement will happen when most of the mainboard manufacturers are ready to start shipping their mainboards based on it. I’d like to admit, that this is a really correct approach.
