Maxtor announced the launching of one more Personal Storage 3000LE external hard disk drive model with the storage capacity of 120GB, which is three times the size of the previous model. All the other specifications of both products are the same: 40GB platters, 5,400rpm spindle rotation speed, 2MB buffer, 3.2dB noise level in idle state, 250G*sec operating shock, USB 2.0/1.1 interface, 41mm x 152mm x 219mm size and weighing around 300g.

The novelty has already arrived in stock of Maxtor reseller companies. The recommended retail price for a 120GB (X01USB2120) model makes $299.95, for 40GB (X01USB2040) model - $199.95. You can also get a USB 2.0-to-PCI converter (K01PCUSB2) for $49.95.
