As tbreak.com posted today, MSI is about to launch two Socket A mainboards with DDR333 support based on SIS 745 and VIA KT333. Here are the specs:
  • KT3 Ultra (MS-6380E) is a Socket A mainboard for Athlon XP/Athlon/Duron CPUs based on VIA KT333 chipset. It is equipped with three DDR DIMM slots supporting PC2700/PC2100 DDR SDRAM, one AGP 4x, five PCI and one CNR slot. There are two integrated controllers: USB 2.0 from NEC and ATA133 RAID from Promise. It also supports AC’97 sound. Photo is here.
  • 745 Ultra (MS-6561) is a cheaper Socket A mainboard based on SIS 745 with three DDR DIMM slots for PC2700/PC2100 DDR SDRAM, one AGP 4x, five PCI and one CNR slot. It will also feature integrated AC’97 sound and 10/100Mbit Ethernet support. Photo is here.
