As we learnt from some non-official sources, SiS has already shipped the first samples of its new graphics chip, SiS330, which is to be a follower of the existing SiS315. It is reported to start shipping in mass in the second quarter. Its graphics core will be used in the upcoming integrated chipsets from SiS (SiS660, SiS760).
We are sorry to have found no detailed specification of SiS330 yet. It is only said that its performance will be comparable with NVNIDIA GeForce2 (not GeForce2 MX, but GeForce2!). Well, it sounds too good to be true… But still we don’t abandon the hopes. ;)
