After the launching of first graphics cards on NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti200 chips equipped with 128MB memory, some similar solutions on ATI RADEON 7500 chips cropped up. This time Joytech Company decided to stand out this way and provided its RADEON 7500 with additional 64MB of graphics memory. As a result, they got a graphics accelerator called ARV200A1NLD-128M. We have already told you that it doesn’t make any practical sense to equip RADEON 7500 graphics cards and the like with 128MB graphics memory. The only possible advantage it may provide is the possibility to have a proud sticker on the box saying "128MB".
Moreover, according to the memory marking (M-PLUS ISDC816B2434MO-06) the chips used are none other but SDR SDRAM working at 166MHz. So, if you are looking for a graphics card with a lot of slow graphics memory, then go to Joytech. In Japan this solution is now selling for around $100.
The card is equipped with a VGA-, DVI- and TV-Out and is supplied together with an additional S-Sub connector cable for the second monitor.
