Intel Cuts Down the Mobile Processor Families. [12/18/2001 02:18 PM]

Intel mobile processor families underwent another cut-down thing. Intel officially announced that they start the discontinuance program for their Mobile Pentium III 850MHz, Mobile Pentium III LV 750MHz, Mobile Celeron (0.18micron) 733MHz and Mobile Celeron LV 600MHz.
The boxed versions of Mobile Pentium III 850MHz and Mobile Celeron (0.18micron) 733MHz have already stopped shipping on December 7. The last order for tray versions of all the mentioned above processors will be accepted on April 12, 2002 at the latest, and the last shipment will be effected on June 6, 2003 for Pentium III and on December 6, 2002 for Celeron.
