Today ABIT announced the launching of its Socket478 mainboard called SD7-533 and built on SiS645 chipset.
In fact, this mainboard has nearly the same specs as any other similar Pentium 4 DDR solution on SiS645. Low cost of this core logic makes the mainboard manufacturers aim their solutions at the budget market that is why they boast only the necessary minimum of features. Take a look yourselves at the specs of SD7-533. It has 3 DIMM slots for PC2700/PC2100 DDR SDRAM, an AGP 4x slot, 5 PCI slots, an integrated C-media 8738 sound controller, 6 USB ports. The only peculiarity of this solution seems to be the support of SoftMenu III technology, which allows adjusting the processor Vcore and FSB frequency between 100Mhz and 165Mhz with 1MHz step via BIOS Setup.
