We managed to get a word about a new dual-processor mainboard based on AMD-760MPX chipset for Athlon MP and Duron MP CPUs, which is currently prepared by EPoX to be launched in the beginning of next year.
EPoX M762A mainboard will possess pretty common features and will have only one integrated option: 10/100Mbit network controller. Other than that there is nothing special about it. It will feature dual Socket A, 4 DIMM slots for up to 4 Registered PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM modules or up to 2 regular PC1600/PC2100 DDR SDRAM modules. The board will have an AGP 4x slot, two 66MHz/64bit PCI slots and three 33MHz/32bit PCI slots. We hope that its cost will be considerably lower than that of the already selling ASUS solution.
