Tyan officially announced that they started shipping their dual-processor Socket A mainboard Tiger MPX (S2466) built on the recently announced AMD-760MPX chipset.
The mainboard is designed in ATX form-factor (features an additional 12V power supply connector, the minimum required power supply unit should be 300W). The board is equipped with 4 DIMM slots for up to 4GB PC1600/PC2100 Registered DDR SDRAM (supports ECC), two 3.3V 64bit/66MHz PCI slots, four 4V 32bit/33MHz PCI slots, an AGP 4x slot, two ATA/100 channels (AMD-768 South Bridge), optional 3Com 3C920 10/100 Ethernet controller (will go only with S2466N mainboard model).
