Of course, these CPUs do not differ in any way from the regular brown Athlon XP processors, and they are selling for the same price. By the way, these green Athlon XP CPUs are just the first signs of new "green Athlon era". According to Van’s Hardware, an AMD official reported that in the first half of 2002 all Athlon XP processors will be assembled in green packages. The change of the package color has to do with the fact that green is the brand color of AMD, as the official said. So, we expect brown Athlon processors to start disappearing little by little.
