Concept PC 2001 from Intel and Hewlett-Packard
According to Intel and HP, the system block (the computing block) of the modern PC should be built on Pentium 4 CPU, of course! The PC case should feature the following dimensions: 4.5" x 12.8" x 14.8" (11.4cm x 32.5cm x 37.6cm), should be equipped with a CD-RW drive and support USB 2.0 (as is known Intel’s chipsets should acquire USB 2.0 support only in the middle of next year), Bluetooth and RF technologies. As for the peripheral devices, the Concept PC should have a wireless mouse and keyboard, a web-camera, speakers, 18” TFT LCD panel and of course a cup of coffee :-) By the way, the Concept PC on the pictures above was equipped with a low-profile graphics card based on ATI RADEON 7500 chip with DVI interface, however, there are no precise recommendations on the matter, as there are a lot of chips in the market today, which could ensure sufficient graphics performance.
What else can we add here? Certainly, the Concept PC described above looks very attractive, but can you imagine how expensive it will be? But it is a Concept, so you have to put up with that...
