ALi reported their sales a few of days ago. The whole year is not very successful for ALi, September was not as well. It can be explained easily, since ALi offers nothing new on the PC market, on the other hand, it is not yet well-recognised on the other markets. Nevertheless, the company still manages to perform better than in 2001 – that is just what the investors want.

ALi’s net sales in September were about $14.365 million, down 1.2% compared to August. Unfortunately, the revenue figure is 4.42% lower compared to the same period of 2001. Currently, the year-to-date revenue of ALi is $133.8 million, 30% more than for the same period a year ago.

Next year ALi will be able to show even better results, since they will start to supply numerous core-logic devices for both Pentium 4 and AMD ClawHammer platforms in addition to their current controllers.

Please also see this news-story if you want to compare ALi to its rivals VIA Technologies and Silicon Integrated Systems.
