Mainboards manufacturers don’t give up experiments with diagnostics. Specifically, MSI has introduced another invention in this field - D-Bracket. This is virtually a light recast of ASUS iProbe. MSI has just moved its diagnostics system, D-LED, to a separate bracket, which places instead one of the extension cards. D-LED comprises four LEDs, so now it’s possible to observe their indications when case is closed. Accordingly, D-Bracket is a good means for troubleshooting during POST.
Alongside with the diagnostics LEDs, the bracket hosts two USB headers, connected to the mainboard.
We have found no information about the availability and the price of this device, but we hope that MSI will simply enclose it to its mainboard boxes.
