After having introduced AK74-SC and AK74-EC Socket A mainboards DFI followed up with the announcement of AK75-EC mainboard on KT133A chipset. It supports 266MHz Athlon processors with the working frequencies of 1GHz, 1.1GHz, 1.2GHz, and the next generation 1.5GHz or above. It also supports PC100/133 SDRAM (3 DIMM slots for up to 1.5GB of memory), ATA100 high-speed data transmission interface, AC’97 sound, as well as 4X AGP (1 AGP 4x slot). Besides, there are also 5 PCI, 1 CNR slots and 4 USB ports onboard.
For experienced overclock users, AK75-EC offers adjustable functions of external frequency, multiplier, and core voltage.
DFI will show this mainboard during CeBIT.
