SUMA announced that they would start shipping their new graphics card called Platinum GeForce2 MX SIF TURBO in the nearest future. Here are some peculiarities of the new product:
  • The card is equipped with a jumper, which serves to switch between Normal and Turbo modes.
  • The core and memory frequencies in Normal mode make 175MHz and 166MHz correspondingly (i.e. these are standard frequencies of the regular GeForce2 MX).
  • The core and memory frequencies in Turbo mode make 183MHz and 200MHz correspondingly.
  • The card features 5ns memory by Hyundai. In fact, these chips are among the today’s best ones in the SDRAM market. We won’t be surprised if the memory on this card will be able to get overclocked up to 220-230MHz.
  • SIF (SUMA Individual analog Filter).
The first shipments of SUMA Platinum GeForce2 MX SIF TURBO are ready to start any day. The prices hasn’t been reported yet, but we don’t think it will be too high.
