So, SiS is really running ahead of time, but maybe this is exactly the thing that will help it win the desired 30% of the discrete chipset market this year? At least, the company representatives really believe in this, which was actually mentioned in the official press-release.
And we think that we would be able to speak about SiS as about a real candidate for a significant share of the chipset market only if the company proves capable of supplying the mainboard manufacturers with its chipsets without delays. Thank goodness, things seem to be changing for the better in this respect. That is why we would simply wish SiS good luck and stress that SiS633T and SiS635T have in fact become the first chipsets supporting Pentium III (Tualatin) CPUs, which are manufactured in mss quantities.
