Although the launching of new faster Duron processors doesn’t look that necessary for AMD now, a 900MHz version of this CPU seems to be coming out quite soon. At least these processors were already noticed retailing in Japan.
As for the price of the new CPU, it seems quite real to us: around $140. especially taking into account the current "exclusivity" of the new product. This way, if the CPU is really launched in the nearest future, it is very likely to take place during CeBIT (22 – 28 March).
