The cooperation between STM and Hercules turns out to be resulting not only in the launching of KYRO II based graphics cards. As we read at Gamespot, Hercules is planning to start manufacturing new graphics cards based on an ordinary KYRO chip from STM. This card will be called 3D Prophet 4000. It will be equipped with 32MB SDRAM and will cost around $80. For your reference: similar graphics cards from PowerColor, for instance, are now selling for around $100. That’s why the new solution from Hercules promises to be more popular among tile based rendering fans.
