ATI RADEON VE graphics card started selling in almost all more or less big Japanese stores. Just if you forgot, we would like to repeat that ATI positions this card as a business solution, which should compete with Matrox G450. ATI RADEON VE is equipped with 32MB DDR SDRAM, however, it can hardly help improve its 3D performance, because this card has only one "working" pipeline. But to make up for this drawback ATI provided its offspring with a regular D-Sub output, DVI-Out (with a D-Sub converter) and S-Video Out, which makes RADEON VE a worthy competitor to Matrox G450.
The graphics card costs between $122.5 and $140, which is quite a good price especially taking into account that Japanese stores are usually selling hardware at a higher price than the rest of the world. So, we expect this card to cost10-15% lower here.
