Today Shuttle announced a new FV24 mainboard. the peculiar thing about this new product based on VIA PL133 chipset is its form-factor. The mainboard is a Flex-ATX one and has the size of 7"x7.5". However, despite this miniature size this is a fully fledged product. It supports Pentium III/Celeron/Cyrix III Socket 370 CPUs, 66/100/133MHz Front Side Bus speeds and is provided with the integrated S3 Savage4 2D/3D graphics core. Due to 686B South Bridge, the mainboard supports ATA/100 interface. As for the expansion slots, there are two DIMM slots for PC100/133 or VCM memory modules; as well as 1 PCI and 1 AGP slots. The extras of this product include onboard IEEE 1394 controller, onboard 10/100Mb/s LAN and TV-out support. , FV24 also supports two additional USB Ports via a USB cable as well as supports Line-Out & Microphone-In at the front panel.
