The mainboards support the Intel Pentium III (FC-PGA) at speeds of 1GHz and beyond, as well as the Intel Celeron (FC-PGA & PPGA) processors. Both mainboards benefit from the enhanced ICH2 Controller Hub, which delivers twice the I/O bandwidth as traditional bridge architecture, and provides dedicated data paths to fully optimize the additional bandwidth. Furthermore, it supports a maximum of four USB connections, while ATA 100 provides the fastest data/file transfer rates available.
With support for AGP 4X the FS15 and FS39 provide the ideal cost-effective platforms for customers who require high performance graphic solutions, be it for gaming or demanding business and e-Commerce applications.
The ATX sized FS15 offers one AGP 4X, one CNR and six PCI expansion slots, and has three DIMM slots for a maximum memory capacity of 512MB of PC133 SDRAM. Meanwhile, the MicroATX sized FS39 is equipped with one AGP 4X, one CNR and three PCI expansion slots, with two DIMM slots for up to 512MB of memory. The Communications and Network Riser Card (CNR) allows multiple configurations on a single card to extend USB, LAN, and audio for greater flexibility and ease of configuration. In addition, the AC97 controller provides high quality audio, with up to six channels and surround sound capability.
