Biostar: Three New Socket A Mainboards. [03/02/2001 06:47 AM]

After a relatively long "silent" period Biostar launched three new mainboards for AMD Athlon and Duron CPUs:

M7VKL. This is a low-cost mainboard based on VIA KL133 chipset (with integrated S3 Savage4 graphics core, without external graphics support), which is just like Intel 810/810E. The board is designed in MicroATX form-factor, supports 200MHz FSB, is equipped with 2 DIMM slots for the maximum of 1GB PC100/PC133 SDRAM. The expansion slots include: 3 PCI and 1 CNR. The mainboard also supports UDMA33/66 because it has VIA VT82C686A South Bridge.
M7VKD. This is a standard ATX board based on VIA KT133A chipset with a new VT82C686B South Bridge. The board supports 200/266MHz system bus frequency, up to 1.5GB PC100/PC133 SDRAM, which is installed into 3 DIMM slots. Besides, there are 5 PCI, 1 AGP 4x, 1 AMR and 1 ISA slot. The board supports ATA/100 interface.
M7VKF. This ATX mainboard is very similar to M7VKD, however it is built on VIA KM133 (integrated S3 Savage4 graphics core). It also supports 200Mhz FSB, features 3 DIMM slots for up to 1.5GB PC100/PC133 SDRAM, 5 PCI, 1 AGP 4x, 1 AMR and 1 ISA slot. The board supports ATA/100 interface due to VIA VT82C686B South Bridge.
