This on-line hardware retail store started accepting orders for a GeForce3 based graphics card from Leadtek, namely WinFast GeForce3, as to Hardware.fr. The current price of the product makes around $680. The card from Leadtek will be based on NVIDIA’s reference design. Its core will support 200MHz and the memory – 460MHz. The card will be equipped with a D-Sub connector, DVI-Out and TV-Out. Also there will be Leadtek’s brand cooler of a huge size, just like the one we saw on GeForce2 Ultra based card from this manufacturer.
So, we already know that tomorrow the world will welcome NVIDIA GeForce3 graphics cards from four manufacturers: ASUS V8200, ELSA GLADIAC 920, Hercules 3D Prophet III and Leadtek WinFast GeForce3.
As you see, there is no info on Creative’s graphics cards. No wonder, since Creative is rumored not to be going to announce any GeForce3 based graphics cards in the near future (at least). Moreover, we saw NV20 based cards on the roadmaps of some other manufacturers, such as ABIT and Gigabyte. However, they are most likely to announce their GeForce3 based products somewhat later.
