SOYO: i815EP Based Mainboard. [02/22/2001 09:29 PM]

Despite some internal problems, SOYO keeps manufacturing new products. Today the company announced a new Socket370/FC-PGA mainboard based on i815EP chipset – SY-7IS2. This is an ATX board equipped with 3 DIMM slots for PC100/PC133 SDRAM, 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP 4x and 1 CNR slot.
Although this product looks very much like its predecessor based on i815E, SY-7ISA+, the PCB has been enhanced.
Among the most interesting peculiarities of the board we should mention voiced diagnostics and CPU overclocking options via BIOS Setup.
