Although ABIT hasn’t yet officially announced any of its DDR mainboards, the attention towards this products keeps growing due to the company’s previous successes. According to Adrian’s Rojak Pot, ABIT won’t be able to start manufacturing any of its DDR mainboards, including the rumored ABIT KG7 before Q2. As to ABIT reps, KG7 suffers some problems with the RAM setup.
The only product ABIT will be showcasing in Q1 2001 will be i850 based Pentium 4 mainboard supposedly called TH7.
Anyway, ABIT has the following products on its current roadmap:
  • ABIT ST6 - Intel 815EP
  • ABIT KG7 - AMD 760, DDR SDRAM
  • ABIT KR7 - VIA KT266, DDR SDRAM
  • ABIT NV-22 - NVIDIA Crush 12, DDR SDRAM
Well, this looks quite promising, actually. However, bearing in mind the significant delay of ABIT KG7, we start doubting whether these products will come out soon. Moreover, we have to stress that according to ABIT’s product numbers, it looks as if NVIDIA Crush 12 based mainboard, NV-22, would be available only for system integrators and you would hardly manage to buy it anywhere.
